Shabu Shabu with Umami Broth
Shabu Shabu is a traditional Japanese hot pot perfect for chilly evenings. Our version features a our Umami Broth, a medley of mushrooms, wombok cabbage, firm tofu, and thinly sliced Wagyu beef. Dip these cooked ingredients into our Roasted Sesame Dressing or Lemon Myrtle & Yuzu Ponzu for an extra burst of flavour.
Pair with: Warm sake or a robust red wine to complement the rich flavours.
Shio Grilled Mackerel with Shiso Teriyaki
Grilled mackerel, known as Saba Shioyaki in Japan, is a simple yet flavorful dish. Season the mackerel fillets with our Umami Powder and brush with olive oil before grilling to achieve crispy skin and tender flesh. Finish with a drizzle of our Shiso Teriyaki sauce for a delightful twist. Serve alongside steamed rice and charred green onions for a complete meal.

Simple side dishes sometimes get left out, this noodle dish however is one we can't recommend enough. It's rich, it goes well with anything, and it's ready in minutes.
Made with a luscious sauce of butter, Shiso Teriyaki and our Ponzu- the result is a harmonious blend of savoury and tangy flavours that's perfect for a cozy night in.
