Pork Tsukune

INGREDIENTS

150ml Shiso Teriyaki

600g Pork Mince

2tbsp Cooking Sake

1tbsp Mirin

1 medium brown onion, finely diced

1 garlic clove, grated

1 Egg

3tbsp Cornflour

1L Vegetable oil (to fry)

METHOD

Mix all ingredients well (excluding oil and Teriyaki)

Wet your hands with water and roll tsukune into meatballs (approx 18).

Heat roughly 1 Litre of oil in a heavy based pot, fry in batches at 180c for 4 minutes.

Place in a medium oven tray and cover evenly with Teriyaki.

Roast at 200c for 4minutes or until caramelised.

Serve with rice and pickles
