Gyoza with Fresh Yuzu & Chilli
300G PORK MINCE
1 TSP GRATED GINGER
3 TBSP SHISO TERIYAKI
3 SHIITAKE MUSHROOMS (FINELY CHOPPED)
1/2 GREEN ONION (CHOPPED)
1/2 TSP WHITE PEPPER
1 TSP SESAME OIL
Place all the ingredients in a large bowl. Season with salt and mix well, then line a tray with baking paper.
Place 1 gyoza wrapper on your palm (left hand for right-handed people). Dip your finger in water and run it around the edge of half the gyoza wrapper (to seal).
Place 1 tbsp of Filling on the wrapper. Fold wrapper over and use your right hand assisted by your left hand thumb to create 5 pleats. Press to seal and place on the tray. Repeat with remaining wrappers.
Once the gyoza are all wrapped, place a non-stick pan on medium high heat.
Place 2 tablespoons of cooking oil in the pan.
Fry the gyoza, until golden brown on the bottom.
Add 1/3 cup of water to the pan and place a lid on top. Cook until the water is evaporated (3-4 minutes)
Once cooked transfer to a plate, drizzle with Fresh Yuzu & Chilli dressing and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
